Prerequisites

Before you create a Databricks bill connect, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  • You have Admin access to the Databricks account console.
  • At least one workspace in every region that needs to be indexed must:

    • Be enabled for Unity Catalog.

    • Have System tables enabled.

    • Contain at least one SQL warehouse tagged created_for:flexera.

    • Be accessible to the service principal, which must also have access to the system tables and Can Use permission on the tagged warehouse.

      After you create the Bill Connect, Flexera automatically discovers all workspaces in the region. See Auto Discovery of New Workspaces.
